Following an influx of new players during the 2022 season, in 2023 KCFC Star were, for the first time, able to form two teams at the U12 age group: KCFC Star U12 Yellow and KCFC Star U12 Black.
Consisting of girls born 2012 and 2013, throughout the 2023 season “the Blacks” played in the SWF South West U12 7-a-side Erin Cuthber (tier 1) League.
As the season closed, with Kilbirnie Community Football Club adopting their new identity as Kilbirnie Ladeside Girls, “the Blacks” made their next step in their football journey: those born 2012 joining Kilbirnie Ladeside Girls U12 Yellow, and those born 2013 moving to Kilbirnie Ladeside Girls U12 Black.
